Let the Adventure Begin Early!

Here at Ridgeway Adventures we do a lot of work with schools, youth groups and charities.

From one-off trips to being part of the regular term time curriculum, our activities promote discipline, hand-eye coordination, team work, physical exercise and the opportunity to try something a bit different in a controlled environment.

“I am writing in my role as a staff member at a SEN secondary school to formally recommend Ridgeway Adventures. For almost a year, we have been taking groups of our students to their site on a weekly basis to participate in a range of activities including axe throwing, archery, airsoft, and the laser maze.

Throughout our partnership, the team at Ridgeway Adventures has consistently delivered sessions of a very high standard, in particular Cain and Liam who have led our activities. Staff are professional, approachable, and highly attentive to safety, ensuring that all activities are carefully supervised whilst understanding the varying needs of our students. They demonstrate patience and adaptability, enabling our students to access and enjoy activities that may otherwise feel challenging or outside their comfort zones.

The impact on our students has been extremely positive. Many of the young people we support benefit greatly from opportunities to engage in structured, hands-on activities in a different environment. We have seen a noticeable increase in confidence, particularly among students who are often hesitant to try new experiences. The sessions provide a valuable opportunity for them to have fun, build resilience, develop teamwork skills, and experience success in a supportive setting.

The welcoming and encouraging atmosphere created by the staff has helped our students feel safe, motivated, and proud of their achievements. The provision has become an important and valued part of our enrichment offer.

We would not hesitate to recommend Ridgeway Adventures to other schools or organisations seeking a safe, engaging, and professionally run activity centre.”
