Terms & Conditions for our indoor activity centre sessions:
- Please make sure to arrive 15 minutes before your session is due to start so that we can begin on time. All participants must complete a risk form before participating. Latecomers arriving after the session has started may have to wait until there is a window to start a secondary safety briefing, please make sure to arrive early before the session is due to start to avoid holding up the session.
- Please make sure to check the directions and joining instructions on your booking confirmation and make sure to forward these to the rest of your group, we are on a working farm in a remote location that some people can struggle to find if they haven’t been sent the directions, use the what3words address on the booking confirmation email (and use via the what3words app) for the best directions. The postcode usually takes people to the private residential properties behind the activity centre, make sure to park up in front of the red brick building upon arrival, don’t go directly to the postcode.
- We have a 24 hour cancellation policy, we require 24 hours advanced written notice by email (events@affg.co.uk) of a cancellation in order to refund, otherwise we can reschedule the date of a booking or convert your purchase into a gift voucher reusable at a later date.
- There is a minimum booking of 2 required, we do not offer sessions for individuals.
-We do not take bookings over the phone. Bookings must either be booked directly online, or via email. Specify in an email the time, date, and which activity you would like to book. Only special exceptions are made in terms of accessibility to book in over the phone. We are often out on the farm doing manual jobs and this means we are not always at our computers in order to take bookings over the phone, hence email or online is always best.
- For sessions and groups over 10 people please get in touch directly by email (events@affg.co.uk) to book a private session. Alternatively sessions can be booked online for 10 persons and additional members added at a later date, but this mainly applies to axe throwing and archery where our maximum capacities are 15 people.
- Public sessions are booked for up to 10 people, so smaller groups may have other participants on their sessions (all activities except the laser maze) if you would like a private session please get in touch.
- Make sure to read our safety guidance in advance of a session, axe throwing and archery include making sure to wear closed toe shoes (no flip flops or sandals) and make sure to remove jewellery and piercings (anything that can be caught on the bow string or caught on axes) specifically hoop earings, long necklaces, dangly bracelets/anything long that dangles. (We advise on removing all piercings from the waist up for archery). All long hair must be tied back.
- Any non-participants planning to spectate sessions in advance must contact us in advance as activities have a limited viewing area, all spectators must be present for safety briefings and complete a risk form.
- There is no alcohol allowed on the premises. We retain the right to refuse any customers who have been drinking.
- If any participants aren’t following the safety guidance given by our staff, or if we deem anyone to be a danger to themselves or others, we reserve the right to sit customers out of activities. Customers must follow the site rules and abide by what their instructors have told them, this is paramount for safety.
- The activity centre is strictly 8+ years, any other children under 8 years should be left at home, this is strictly for safety.
- The age limit for axe throwing is 10+ years. For crossbow shooting 14+ years. For whip cracking 16+.
- All those under 18 must be in attendance with a guardian, a guardian must complete the risk form on their behalf.
- Dogs are not permitted at our activity centre strictly for safety (with axes thrown and arrows shot, it isn't a safe environment for dogs) only trained assistance dogs can attend (please contact us in advance to let us know).
- We do not hold or reserve bookings, times, or dates without a deposit payment as a minimum. Payment must be received before a booking is confirmed and in the diary.
- Our activity centre is on a busy working farm, customers must remain in the parking area directly in front of the centre or inside the centre, the land surrounding the activity centre is private residential property and is strictly prohibited for customers. Please do not walk around the building or go anywhere other than the activity centre. If you are lost please remain in your car, check your joining instructions, and contact us.
