The ideal location for anxious dogs to play, for younger pups looking to practise recall, or for just a fun run around without worrying about other people and their puppers. Whether you’re a dog owner, or a professional dog-walker, this is the location for a nice wild walkie!

    Our secure dog park is designed to allow you and your dog a great patch of land to go off lead without worrying about other dogs and their owners. The perfect place for rescues, nervous dogs, or those that just want some space to themselves.

  • PRIVATE

    When you come and spend time at Wallingford Wild Walkies you have run of the place, the field is private with no public access so you have the whole place to yourself, that we can guarantee! The field is just over 2 acres to run around in with a secure fence around the perimeter. Just make sure to remain on-lead until you’re inside the field for safety!

  • BOOKING

    Simply book a session for a time that suits you, drive along, punch in the code, park up, and enjoy your private pooch time! Prices are £10 for 60 minutes to get outside and enjoy some play and exercise with your fuzzy friends. With an additional add on to add more dogs if you are bringing more than 2. Directions

You can find us most easily using What3words https://w3w.co/puzzles.sprinkler.quench as the park doesn’t have a postcode. The entrance to the park is a sharp turn off of Bosley Way (A4130). It is located between the hithercroft and the winterbrook roundabout. It is easiest to approach from the Winterbrook roundabout (heading due west). If coming from the Winterbrook roundabout it is the next left turn after you have crossed the heritage railway line. Please make sure to look up directions before your visit and to use What3words for the best directions. All dogs must remain on leads until safely in the fenced secure park, make sure the main gate is shut and make sure the inner gate is closed before going off lead.

Wallingford Walkies: site rules

1.   You must clear up after your dog within the time slot booked (not afterwards), there are bins provided DO NOT FOUL

2.   Please pick up and dispose of dog poo in the bins provided. Please do not leave any dog poo in the field. DO NOT FOUL. Not noticing is not an excuse for fouling, you must watch your dog at all times and all fouling must be removed otherwise you risk being banned and facing fines.

3.   Any hirer that fails to clear up after their dog will be refused future hire of the field. Fouling can be reported to the council and can be prosecuted for fines up to £1000.

4. All dogs must remain on leads until safely in the fenced secure park, make sure the main gate is shut and make sure the inner gate is closed before going off lead. To ensure no one else can access the field lock the gates shut.

5. You must stick to the time you have booked. If you are late you must still leave the field promptly at the end of your allocated time, to avoid delaying others with sessions after you.

6.   Please make sure to have your booking confirmation email with you, and double check the time you have booked your session for before setting off. Do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your booked time slot and stay in your car if there is someone else still occupying the field. Always make sure to keep the main first gate locked whilst you are in the field.

7.   If there is someone still in the field within your allocated timeslot please first double check your booking time. Before contacting us we need the name of the person who is still in the field so we can check this against the bookings. Ask them to show you proof of their booking time/email. If the previous occupants over-run their time slot please call us on 07552533381 so we can ask them to leave. If there is no answer please also email events@affg.co.uk and we can reschedule your booking. To create a full report we do need the name of the person who was in the park during your session time.

8.   Please be aware of the time whilst walking your dog so that you leave on time at the end of your booked session, to avoid delaying others with sessions after you. We have a 3 strike policy, if you are on site during someone else’s session you will be given a warning, after 3 occurences you will be banned from the site.

9.   Please do not allow your dog to dig in the field.

10.   If you wish to share the time slot booked with friends please ensure they have also read these field rules prior to visiting.

11.     Dogs should be in good health, vaccinated and up-to-date with all parasite treatments (flea, tick and worms). Please do not bring ill dogs to the field ie if they are showing signs of coughing, diarrhoea, vomiting or other out of character behaviour.

12.     Please only exercise your dog in the secured field.

13.     Dogs should not be tied to any structures e.g. trees or fencing at any time.

14.     Please do not leave dogs unattended in the field.

15.     Any dogs left in cars are your responsibility and you should ensure they have adequate shade, water and ventilation.

16.     The field is a non-smoking area.

17.     Children must be supervised at all times.

18.     You will be liable for any damage caused on our premises (including damage to any equipment provided by us) caused by you, your dog(s) or any person in your group. Any damage to the field or its facilities should be reported to us on 07552533381 immediately.

19.     Any observation of a hirer breaching these field rules should be reported to us on 07552533381 immediately.

20.     Wallingford Wild Walkies Dog Park cannot accept any liability for property (eg toys, leads, etc) left at the premises.

21.     Cars are parked at your own risk and we take no responsibility for cars at the premises.

22. We require refund requests by email 24 hours in advance of a booking in order to process a refund.

23.     We do not accept any liability for any accident, injury or misadventure to property, persons or animals, however caused when using this facility.

24. XL Bully policy: We do allow XL Bully breeds on our private secure dog park so long as the following rules are complied with:

  • Firstly, to comply with all up to date UK laws and legislation regarding the XL Bully and breeds

  • Secondly, that XL Bullies and breeds are only allowed on site with dogs from within the same household. No guests or guest dogs are allowed for XL Bully sessions

  • Thirdly, the parking area before entering the park should be treated as a public area i.e. all dogs should be leashed before entering the secure field, and all XL bully’s and breeds should be muzzled whilst in the public area, in compliance with UK law, especially as this area may be where other dogs and customers for subsequent sessions may arrive early.
