ACTIVITY CENTRE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Booking

• All sessions must be booked in advance (no walk-ins).

• Minimum booking: 2 people (no solo sessions).

• Book online or by email (info@ridgewayadventures.co.uk). We cannot take bookings by phone, except in special accessibility cases.

• Payment/deposit is required to confirm your booking. Bookings are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email. (For SumUp payments, please email us to confirm receipt.)

• Groups 10+: Please email to arrange a private session. Public sessions (up to 10 people) may include other participants unless booked as private.

Arrival & Location

• Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete safety forms and start on time. Late arrivals may need to wait for a secondary briefing.

• Use the What3Words link in your confirmation (via the app) for accurate directions. The postcode often misleads—park in front of the red brick building, not at the nearby residential properties.

Safety & Conduct

• Dress code: Closed-toe shoes only (no flip flops/sandals). Remove jewellery/piercings (especially hoops, necklaces, dangling items) and tie back long hair.

• Spectators: Must be arranged in advance, complete a risk form, and attend the briefing.

• Alcohol: Not permitted. We may refuse entry or remove anyone under the influence.

• Behaviour: Instructors may remove participants who ignore safety guidance or endanger others.

Age Limits

• Activity centre: 8+ only (strictly no under-8s, including babies).

• Axe throwing: 10+

• Crossbows: 14+

• Whip cracking: 14+

• Under-18s must attend with a guardian (who signs the risk form).

Risks

• All activities involve physical exertion and carry some risk of minor injury (e.g. bruises/scrapes from foam arrows, whip strikes). Participation is at your own risk and not recommended for those uncomfortable with contact sports.

Other Rules

• Dogs: Not permitted anywhere on site (including outdoors). Only trained assistance dogs may attend (please notify us in advance).

• Farm site: Stay in the car park or activity centre. Do not walk into private or residential areas.

Cancellations, Refunds & Vouchers

All Ridgeway Adventures bookings are for leisure activities taking place on a specific date and time.

Customer cancellations

Bookings are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your booked session, we do not offer cash refunds.

Where possible, and at our discretion, we may offer a voucher to the value of your booking, valid for 12 months, which can be used towards a future session.

Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Cancellations or changes by Ridgeway Adventures

If Ridgeway Adventures needs to cancel or significantly change a session, you will be offered one of the following options:

• A full refund, or

• Transfer to an alternative date, or

• A voucher of equal value

Important information

Under UK consumer law, bookings for leisure activities on a specific date or time are exempt from the usual 14-day cooling-off period.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Gift Vouchers

• BookingHound vouchers: Enter code online at checkout.

• Third-party vouchers (Buyagift, Red Letter Days, Squarespace): Bookings are provisional until your voucher is validated. A confirmation email will follow once redeemed.

Olympic Fencing is £25 for the 2 hour session.

Graffiti School is £25 for the 2 hour session.

Medieval Combat is £25 for the 1 hour session.

Crossbows is £20 for 30 minutes

1 ACTIVITY (1 Hour) £25 per person

2 ACTIVITIES (2 hours) £45 per person

3 ACTIVITIES (3 hours) £60 per person

Extras
+£5pp for added knife throwing or log splitting to an axe session
+£5pp for added crossbow to an archery sessions
+£6 for pray and spray for airsoft sessions
+£10 for downtime airsoft (for between activities)

To book multiple activities simply use the ‘Add more’ button before checking out, making sure to book adjacent sessions, not sessions occurring at the same time. Booking multiple sessions gives a discount..

All of our activity sessions begin with a thorough safety briefing, which starts at the scheduled session time, this briefing is part of the overall session duration.
